Dr. Jennifer Sperry has been a scientist and an animal lover from a young age. She grew up with her twin brother, Brad, enjoying all of the outdoor adventures available in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Her veterinary career began as a co-op student and kennel attendant at a small animal hospital just steps away from her parents’ home. In 2000, Dr. Sperry moved to Guelph to attend university with the ultimate goal of studying to be a veterinarian at the Ontario Veterinary College. Along the way, she married her husband, Alan and set down roots in this lovely town.
Dr. Sperry graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008, and has been working in the Guelph area ever since. She is particularly interested in canine and feline internal medicine, endocrinology, and emergency and critical care.
Dr. Sperry shares her home with her husband, her two young boys, and her two old dogs, Pippy and Sprite. Outside of work, she likes to travel with her kids, check out the parks and playgrounds of Guelph, and squeak in some gym time when possible.
