Dr. Rahbari was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. He was an animal lover from a very early age when he started fostering orphan kittens and puppies, and decided to become a veterinarian in elementary school. Dr. Rahbari entered veterinary school in 1996 and was bestowed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2002. He then worked as a veterinarian in mixed animal practice as well as veterinary pharmacy and laboratory for more than 6 years before his immigration to Canada in 2009.
Dr. Rahbari studied sales and marketing at the University of Concordia in Montreal and received his certificate in 2010. He then decided to apply for a North American Veterinary License, which he attained in 2012. He has been practicing small animal medicine in Ontario ever since. Dr. Rahbari is very passionate about veterinary surgery, having participated in several workshops and wet-labs to expand his surgical expertise. In addition to his veterinary work, Dr. Rahbari has owned and cared for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, mice, snakes, tarantulas and a hedgehog!
In his spare time, Dr. Rahbari enjoys playing and watching volleyball and tennis with his wife. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and hiking.
